What an awesome to lose my voice. Audience night tmr, thank god theres one on the 16th. Really need to get on stage once more before facing all the hall people. Audience night is really fun:) hahaha and now the keyboardist can safely say:'我们见过面!" .
As for sp night, half an hour on stage is really damn long. I think my stage fright will be totally gone after that performance.

And... I'm really not as amazing as what people say! Don't believe hear for yourself!!!!!!

Really touched..... i wasn't impressed at the start cause I thought it was just a boyband.. but only till yoochun broke down then I realise it was a live performance... standards that goes way beyond what we have in the mandarin music industry. They are really something..

My roomie's favourite post. I never really read it again seriously. So I'm gonna repost it here. Before I lose it one day :)

Dead Alive and Dead again...

The red glove pumps its fist, with momentum and rhythm like a death march. Dull, solemn and lifeless.

That is, if you put my current lifestyle on a chart… It will be a stream line with occasional flickers and inclining gradients, and nothing else. My life monitor, constantly reminding me to keep it up and beating again… To no avail though.

Forgot the last time I blogged properly, simply because there is nothing going on. Nothing worth of mention. Oh, my bulb flickered up there, reminding me I should at least bring up the passion in my life, Singing. I forgot when I started minding, started thinking about every note I sing and being conscious of it, not to let it go OFF. In addition to my big fat blank on my romance page, I hear, I see , I feel no soul in my voice. Perhaps just an empty imitation that is not even up to mark. My emotions, once so overpowering and overbearing, nest on a funnel. Draining away, seep, trickle , gone.



I hope my creative writing module will teach me well.

Dream a little dream of me

Inception gave me goosebumps, I'm sure its not the air-con in the theatres, but the intricate plot crafted by the playwrighter, producer and the director. Its absurd and bold, how the line between dreams and reality are blurred. Anyting could happen in a dream, which makes the whole thing even more real. All the ridiculous change in the landscape and people. It is impactful for me, because I believe the mind is a really powerful thing, and the whole subconscious talk in the movie hit me. Some things are merely ideas planted in our heads. Once an idea is set in our heads, what we see next will be changed drastically. Its like how we walk into a room relaxed, seeing just a room. But if someone tells you before, that this room is actually haunted. That sentence and that idea stays in your mind, and you will never walk into that room relaxed again. This is how powerful an idea is, it changes lives. Which is why revelations change lives. The sudden realisation of something unlocks a certain part of you to see the world differently. Also how people facing depression stays in that labyrinth until a door opens to the light. Nothing really changes in their environment or to them, its just that sudden snap in the head, for better or for the worst.

Dreams are really scary for me. It reflects your subconscious mind they say, and probably its why I'm still always dreaming of being locked up, or being chased after, or falling. Still waiting for that snap in my head. Its been so long, but the images still stay so vivid in my head.


About going home, It's something mundane. But in a long while, it was the first time I literally shook in fear. I was trembling so hard it took me so long just to remove my heels. The first wave of fear that hit me was on the cab while the clock ticked away, and the cab uncle making rounds and rounds trying to find the way. I was 1 hour late from my curfew. The second wave of fear, and the one that really sent me into frenzy was the "mad man" who lives upstairs. I saw him lurking around from afar, and looking towards my direction. I knew he saw me, and he was already walking towards me. I just sprinted to the lift lobby and jamming the lift button. It was a race with time. Don't ask me what will happen if he managed to catch up because I don't want to know. The first encounter was pretty close too. He was chasing after me, I ran and ran and God sent my classmate to my eyes. It was only when I screamed for my friend's name then he realised I wasn't alone. Thank God. Many other times I see him lurking at the LRT station for no reason. But when he saw me, he would walk in my direction. I would usually call my dad to come down if he was around. Or i would wait at the busstop for a while, hoping he would loiter somewhere else. I could see something in his eyes and through his behaviour, that makes me weary of him. Call me paranoid, but a mad man with a good heart is still mad, we never know when something strikes them, and they break into frenzy. Once he was mumbling to himself wanting to beat us up, but there was a crowd there so I suppose he couldn't get what he wanted. Its been years already, all these running away, taking detours. Many residents wanted something to be done, but their family couldn't bear to send him off to the asylum. Which family would? I don't blame them for not doing that, but that does not keep me from fearing him. Its really sad to see him using his shoe to call his friends. Wonder what goes on in their world...?

only managed to get 12AUs on the first round. I hope i get the rest soon or i wouldn't graduate even after 4 years, and I heard the tuition grant does not cover the costs after the 4 academic years. Therefore please please please be nice and give me my electives!!! Its really weird that we have so few cores and the prescribed clashes with each other, bother bother bother!

squirming and getting butterflies right now, ah!! listening to Ah Mei's song just gets me more jumpy. Sing with all my might now, cause I prolly won't be able to talk for a few days!!

I have amazingly few cores to do the next semester, only two. But somehow I still cant fit Astro or the business modules into my timetable thanks to the other UEs. I hope I win Starwars!!! Still kinda kuku at it, and I cant believe i'm gonna be a senior!! HAHAHAH. I think the freshies will look so young to this cao lao auntie over here. Our turn to Tekan freshies, mwahahaha. Take revenge for the stupid frog they made us touch, it was pretty ridiculous but I was still screaming like no one's business, and also the 7 wonders that Joel and 1 were made to do, practically glued for don't know how long. 14's FOC was pretty memorable, HSS was just urgh (TGIO! <- try guessing, but no prizes though)

Had an awesome time with the 2 girls today. Girls were scary, but I supposed it depends on what kinda girls eh?

Lovers vs Shoes

Lovers are like shoes. Attractive ones are like killer heels. Puts you in the lime-light, keeps you glamorous and tall. And more importantly, you need to be equipped with plasters; be prepared for blisters (those with pus).

You trot on the streets, clanking in glam and heat. Addicted to the feeling, you'll want to wear it again despite feeling weary and beat after a day of walking. At the back of the head we say 'it's worth while'.

And we have a few other pair of shoes, those comfortable ones where we wear often, but not feel anything simply because it puts you too much in comfort. They don't make heads turn when you wear it, you don't feel the pride and excitement. Definitely not the kind you want to wear out to town.

Some heels are comfortable to start off with, but when you wear it 5 days a week, you start to feel the sore. Yes, it hurts afterall.

What kinda shoes are on your shelves? And which will you chose if you had to wear the same pair for the rest of your life?

True, the killer heels do boost your ego and you wouldn't get sick staring and admiring the whole day, but like what it is, it's out to kill. Sometimes plasters wouldn't help and muscalax everyday wouldn't too.

The right pair of shoes is important, only then will you be able to walk on and on. Occasionally you feel tired and all, but at least, you don't have to step out of it just to ease the pain.

Nonetheless, some people simply 要美不要命. Then, good luck :D

I appreciate flats now, at least I know I can walk my way home with it. And I see the beautiful scenery around me I did not get to see while trotting and bearing that immense pain below.

swooning and going AWW so much while watching WGM. I believe most girls and guys (c'mon don't fake it, you like those couple moments) will soften while watching those sweet moments. Its a little unhealthy in the sense that it is not actual portrayal of relationships, especially in Singapore. First of all, we don't have the natural sightings that they have, no bungee diving (not like I want to do it), no mountains and many many other nice places that Korea has. We don't embrace traditions like 22 days, 99 days etc etc. The way the guy treats the girls, the culture and everything - way too different. Putting culture aside, I would say that even girls in Korea will find that its a little way off from reality, let alone dating/marriage in Singapore. Then again, I would see it as a very successful campaign to encourage marriage. but Girls, please don't get too carried away, what you see on screen is purely fantasy and fiction. If the tvxq guys ever go on that show, i'll be so jealous i put on a robe and shave bald. (no, just kidding)

my eyes are still sore, not from porn or leonardo, but from the makeup cleansing tissue. ahhh. appayeo!! I know the language and style of writing has not been as expected to be. Still incoherent and chopped up sentences plus my usual outbursts. hahaha. I've tried to control my number of Hahah, ahh and omg, but it is simply way too hard. Been a pretty eventful day. An unexpected eyesore, an unexpected trip to the dental clinic, an unexpected trip to get an X-ray; and I just have to mention getting Koi at AMK with my Dad. (: an unexpected question from the doctor "you want to start the process now?" , an unexpected payment of deposit by my dad so I could no longer backout. Braces had always been something I want to do, to get a nice set of teeth and better articulation. But the thought of going to the dentist, injections, and extraction and all, turns me away each time.

Had a great time with Dad today, we talked alot. About the past, about mum's problems, about God, about many many things. I let him try Koi, and he liked it (: . He said it is unlike bubble tea. My dad's a really simple guy, really really amazing, and the best dad i could ever get. I always get a little emotional talking or thinking about him because he is really amazing, and its sad thinking about how hes getting on with age, and how he will one day eventually leave us. omgomgomg. Lets try to get back the happy thoughts. So yes, 15 July, starwars + extraction. extremely eventful.

Musicdreamer live cafe is having audience night this monday. I should seek my brother's advice and go for audience night instead, can at least test water. Therefore, Alvin please don't PS!
I wonder when i'll be good enough to go for Million stars avenue, maybe it will never come, but I hope even if it dosen't, I will at least have the courage to bring my passion on other stages.

I am currently at work, amidst the multiple phone conversations, fingers doing a monotonous tap dance on the keyboard and the palpitating mice. It is a vibrant environment, with occasional pauses like someone accidentally put us on mute and turn it back on again. There's talk in the office today, just not alot within. It is a tad bit different on Fridays, where there's more room for jokes and banter, when the hair is loosen just a little.

Went out for lunch at hong lim, where that place looks like a mega pantry packed with office people. Heard from Siong that this crowd is not hectic at all, so just imagine when it is. This job experience is definitely different from previous ones like Sembawang music or in LOZ. Handling walk-ins are definitely more fun, and more interactive. LOZ's a good working environment. It seldom feels like working at all, and loads of eye candies everyday.

I should stop here since my brain isn't functioning right now. Too drained from looking at resumes. Getting a backache too. Looking forward to meeting faith and Angela wheehee :D
